No More Excuses: Voting Rights Now Rally – HRI

Join HRI in holding our lighted letters at the No More Excuses: Voting Rights Now rally across from the White House in Lafayette Square, D.C.
We’ll call on President Biden to take stronger action to protect our freedom to vote and our democracy. This rally is led by People for the American Way.
Meet us at 10:45 a.m. at Wiehle metro near the farecard machines. We’ll ride metro to Farragut West, walk 3 blocks to Lafayette Square, then hold our letters at the rally from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. and return to Wiehle around 2:30 p.m.
Facemasks are optional for fully vaccinated people but mandatory if you are not fully vaccinated. Please wear an HRI neon yellow protest shirt, if possible, and bring water and a bag lunch.
Those who sign up will be guaranteed to hold a letter; others may rotate in, as needed. You’re encouraged to bring like-minded friends and family to join the rally!
