LGBTQ+ Rally at the Supreme Court

Join HRI on Tuesday, October 8th outside the Supreme Court to support LGBTQ+ Rights. The court will be hearing arguments that could overturn non-discrimination protections afforded Trans and LGBT folks under Title VII provisions of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964.

Join LGBTQ+ Activists on Capitol Hill outside the Supreme Court as the Court hears arguments on three landmark discrimination cases affecting Trans people and members of the larger LGBTQ population.

We are bringing lighted letters spelling LGBTQ+ RIGHTS. Bring water and a snack. Wear your neon yellow protest shirt!

• Meet at Wiehle Metro (leaving at 10:30 so come before then)
• 11:20 – 11:30 exit Metro at Capitol South Station and walk up the hill to the area in front of the Court
• 11:45 assemble with Letters for a photo op
• 12:00 Rally begins across from the Supreme Court
• Rally may include civil disobedience actions, but we have not signed up for those
