HRI Gun Violence Prevention: NRA Vigil

The monthly protest at the NRA returns on Sunday afternoon after a couple of months in limbo due to the coronavirus pandemic. Northern Virginia moves to Phase 2 of re-opening as of Friday, June 12, so gatherings of 50 will be permitted in this area.

With the pandemic still very much with us despite the re-opening, many of us are not ready to venture out and risk our own health and that of other protesters. And we will not yet return to holding our HRI letters for the June protest. A great way to participate in the protest safely is to go to the site during the protest, and drive back and forth past the NRA a few times honking your horns. The provides great support to the protesters (speaking as a protester that has always longed for this kind of support!)
