HRI General Meeting: Science & Environment

The Science and Environment team (HRISE) is hosting this meeting with a focus on how Virginia must step into the shoes of the Federal Government in order to defend against the dangers of global climate change. Two guest speakers from the Sierra Club and NAACP (and Virginia GND) will speak on the following topics:
Climate Change and the Green New Deal in Virginia – Kelsey Zara Crane
Environmental Justice and the Green New Deal in Virginia – Karen Campblin
The Fairfax County Soil & Water Board of Director Candidates will be in attendance & speak briefly.
