Dan Helmer – VADF / HRI Fundraiser with Congresswoman Elaine Luria

Virginia Democracy Forward and Herndon-Reston Indivisible are hosting a fundraiser for candidate, Dan Helmer in VA House District 40. Congresswoman Elaine Luria (CD02) will be our special guest.
Dan Helmer is a great candidate for this district. He lives there with his wife, Karen, a public school teacher, and their two sons. He is a West Point graduate, served tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Korea, and remains a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Today he runs a small business ensuring veterans have access to high-quality healthcare.
Winning HD40 would mean that the last Red held district in Fairfax County would be turned Blue! If you remember, this district is currently held by Tim Hugo and in 2017 Democrat Donte Tanner lost this race by 99 votes. We are doing everything we can to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
Dan Helmer and his team are running a great campaign. HRI is canvassing & writing postcards and we want to see Dan across the finish line by helping him with the necessary funding to be successful in November.
