A University of Mary Washington poll showed Northam at 44 percent to Gillespie’s 39 percent among likely voters, with 11 percent undecided and 3 percent supporting Hyra. The survey’s margin of error for likely voters was plus or minus 5.2 percentage points. . . .
The debate, hosted by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, begins at 7 p.m. and will be televised live on NBC affiliates statewide. The event will also be streamed online at NBCWashington.com.
