DESCRIPTION:Jena was elected in 2018 as the first Democratic Secretary of State in Colorado in 60 years. She is the youngest Secretary of State in the country\, the first Democratic woman elected as Secretary of State in Colorado\, and one of few women to hold constitutional statewide office in Colorado. \nJena has been a champion for voting rights and democracy access both in Colorado and across the country. As Chair of the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State (DASS)\, Jena is leading the effort to elect and protect Democratic Secretaries of State across the country. \nI can’t stress enough the importance of keeping the Secretary of State of Colorado in Democratic hands.  Jena’s election is essential to protect the right to vote and make voting easier and more accessible. \n2022 is going to be a difficult election year for Democrats and this race will be no exception. Conservative SuperPACs spent over $500k in the primary for this race and we can expect them to spend significantly more in the general election. We need to make sure Jena has the resources to run a strong campaign.
