DESCRIPTION:Join HRI in holding our lighted letters at the March On for Voting Rights rally outside the Smithsonian African American Museum in D.C. \nOn the 58th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s historic march on Washington\, we’ll call on President Biden and Congress to protect our freedom to vote and our democracy. This march and rally\, led by March On for Voting Rights\, will be one of many sister marches around the country that day. \nMeet us at 10:00 a.m. at Wiehle metro near the farecard machines. We’ll ride metro to Federal Triangle\, walk 2 blocks to meet marchers at the African American museum\, then hold our letters at the rally from 11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and return to Wiehle around 2 p.m. \nFacemasks are optional for fully vaccinated people but mandatory if you are not fully vaccinated. DESCRIPTION:Join HRI in holding our lighted letters at the No More Excuses: Voting Rights Now rally across from the White House in Lafayette Square\, D.C. \nWe’ll call on President Biden to take stronger action to protect our freedom to vote and our democracy. This rally is led by People for the American Way. \nMeet us at 10:45 a.m. at Wiehle metro near the farecard machines. We’ll ride metro to Farragut West\, walk 3 blocks to Lafayette Square\, then hold our letters at the rally from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. and return to Wiehle around 2:30 p.m. \nFacemasks are optional for fully vaccinated people but mandatory if you are not fully vaccinated.
