SUMMARY:Sip Tea\, Write Postcards\, Defend Democracy
DESCRIPTION:Drop by Elden Street Tea Shop on October 10th to help Herndon-Reston Indivisible get out the vote for the upcoming election. \nWe’re writing personal postcards reminding folks to make their voices heard on November 3rd. \nGrab a drink\, pull up a chair\, and let’s get some writing done together. \nDate: Saturday\, October 10 \nTime: 3:00 – 5:00 PM \nPlace: Elden Street Tea Shop at Lake Anne\, 1633A Washington Plaza N\, Reston\, VA 20190 \nThis is a local Indivisible event! \nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
