SUMMARY:HRI Goes to the Women's March 2020
DESCRIPTION:8:15 a.m. Meet us at Wiehle Metro by the farecard machines \n9:30 a.m. at the Mall Carousel in DC: HRI will join up with Virginia’s BADASS Brigade (Network NoVA\, Postcards4VA & other VA Grassroots Coalition members) for the march. The Virginia delegation will meet at 9:30am with confirmed BADASSes: Virginia Delegates Hala Ayala and Suhas Subramanyam\, Loudoun County Chair Phyllis Randall\, Ellie Smeal of Feminist Majority and Kati Hornung of VARatifyERA. Then we’ll march across the mall to join the Women’s March at Freedom Plaza. \n11:00 a.m. March kicks off Freedom Plaza: We’ll march around the White House\, ending back at Freedom Plaza. \nHRI will bring lighted letters on sticks so message can be seen above the crowd. Dress warmly and for possible snow\, and wear a neon-yellow scarf or hat\, if you have one.
